Set design and build services
Atlantic Sets offers an integrated set design and build service from its workshop in Killarney Gardens, Cape Town. Clients can appoint us for a complete project or for a defined production stage, depending on the brief, the status of the design and the capability already in their team.
What we do
Some clients arrive with a sketch and need everything: concept, design, fabrication, installation and strike. Others arrive with an approved design and need a builder who can resolve the technical detail and manufacture it properly. Both are welcome. The services below can be combined into one accountable workflow or appointed individually.

Creative strategy, concept development, spatial planning, 3D renders, material selection and build-ready technical detailing.

Scenic construction, walling and flats, custom counters and plinths, modular build systems and workshop pre-assembly for temporary, semi-permanent and permanent applications.

Scenic painting, colour matching, textured and aged effects, sculpted elements, custom props, dimensional lettering and camera-conscious finishing.

Presentation stages, podiums, risers, runways, reveal platforms, scenic portals and launch environments, coordinated with rigging, lighting and structural specialists.

A stand has a few seconds to earn a visitor’s attention and a few minutes to earn a conversation. The design has to be visible from the aisle, easy to enter, clear about what the brand offers and practical for the team working it all day. We design for the visitor’s journey through the space, not just for the render.

Studio and location builds, interview environments, commercial and branded-content sets, photography sets and practical interiors, built for camera.
